Well I had summertime pics of this deer last year and didn't pursue him.

I got summertime pics of him this year and was surprised how much he grew, especially the brow tines.

I went after him on Saturday afternoon, and shot him 7' from the tree i climbed. Had one little window to sneak an arrow through and he walked right into it. Here's a pic from him on Thursday. Killed him about 300 yards from the camera on a trail leaving his bedding area.

Got him at 138". Just over 22" beams, 7" brows, 9 1/2" G2's. Jawbone looks to be 5 or 6.

Great deer. By the way, is that a rub on that tree in the first kill pic? If it is I think you may have some Elk walking around your woods.
