Anyone have the mack's Prarie wing waders? Are they durable, warm and true to size?

I bought a pair of the big ditch waders last year. I don't feel that they are any more durable than any other name brand wader. My shoe size is 13, I had to send them back for a size 14. The 13's were too tight for my comfort, the 14's are a little loose, but not uncomfortable.

They began leaking in the crotch toward the end of season last year. I never bother sending them back for warranty claim.

I would buy them again.

Got a pair of their waist highs. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out. They seem fairly durable, but not anymore than any other top brand of waders. They are warm and fit true to size for me. I wear an 11 and their 11 fits well.

I got a pair of the Big Ditch in a tall. They fit better than any of the others that I have owned. The inseam is normally a little short. They fit true to size but can't speak to durability yet. Up2early swears by his. He buys the 3.5mm and loves them.

If you don't mind me asking, do these have the new seam sealer?
JW, because this is supposed to fix all issues with leaking seams. Every pair of waders I have ever owned, no mater the brand eventually leaked in the crotch. Getting on and off 4 wheelers and in and out of boats stretches the stitching and tape in seams. The new IMUM Seam Sealer is supposed to be the real deal.

I got the Grand Prairie in a size 13 tall. Im 6'3" and 240. The legs are alittle long BUT I rather them be long than short. I have been pleased with them so far. I also have a pair of neo hip boots. I love them. Had them for several years. The do have the seam sealer.

Had Big Ditch 3.5s...worst waders I have ever owned and worst customer service I have ever come across. I would not recommend them.

Mine do, I'm not sure the leak is actually in the seam.

Mine had leak in crotch and one of the legs. As a frame of reference, I really take care of waders to prevent dryrot, etc. They are just not quality made products compared to other brands IMO.

I had a great pair of hodgeman that last through 6 seasons. I replaced with some MPW waders last year and so far, so good. I even bought some of the waist-highs this year and I LOVE them...plenty of wader without the weight and bulk, helps with my back too. Several of the guys I know swear by the MPW waders which is one of the main reasons that I went for them. I'm glad I did. I'm very hard on waders and walk through briars, barbed wire, and everything else to get to my duck holes, so one season of my waders have been through it all.

The MPW seem to fit true to size for me. I'm 5'9" of a regular build. Mine do have the seam sealer.

Had the Grand Prairies the last two years. Last year the crotch started leaking. I bought another pair because of the new seams that they have in them now. I like them so far. I'm anxious to see how the seams hold up.

+1

Ive had 2 pairs of BIg Ditch waders. First pair dry rotted in the boot at about 14 months. Macks wouldnt replace them but gave me $75 credit on another pair. They were leaking in the inside of the knees, the boot, and the crotch by end of their first season.

I went back to Hodgeman's.

I am currently on my second pair of Macks big ditch 3.5mm waders. I would definitely recommend them. The first pair had an issue in the crotch region after one season, but they have fixed the seam issue since then. My new pair has been flawless thus far.
