my Macks breathable waders leak..well they leak somewhere . I do not know but it seems like a seam issue.. They have been on total of 6 hunts in 12 months. Read the review from Macks and a lot others have same issue......Any suggestion on how to fix inner seam that it doesnt leak? Thanks

I just replaced a pair that had the same problem. I guess replacement would be my recommendation...there is a one year warranty on the Mack's breathables.

Not sure if my method works for the seams but I have always cleaned the material really well inside and out. Then take silicon and spread it pretty thick on the inside of the material around the leak (2" or more) and let it set up completely. Then do the same thing on the outside of the material and let it set. I have at least 3-5 spots like this on my waders and no leaks. This has been used on holes not seams but it very well may work. If not, I have no idea.

Thanks guys....Hambone must be your water at Ward Lake because that's where they leaked Saturday!

I read the one year return. I am on the cusp.....I will go back to the Swamp Alpha from Lacrosse....loved the Macks overall features and benefits but dang a seam leak..

Swamprooter, come to think of it, maybe it is our water...I get a leak in my waders every year. If it weren't for the warm boots that come with the more expensive waders, I would just buy the cheapos at Academy Sports and just consider them disposable!

Aqua Seal should do the trick. That stuff is magic. Fixed a puncture hole the size of my thumb with it on mine last year. Went this morning for 1st time this season and no leaks.

Were they the new "macks-imum" seams or the other style?

I've seriously thought about this, but those 2 cans for "19.95 plus S&H" cost 40 d@mn dollars with the shipping!
