Just curious as to what everyone has been hearing !

Mine ain't sayin a whole lot ! 3 or 4 gobbles on the limb,... maybe 2 or three times on the ground !

Am yet to hear one get "good and fired up" !

Usually when things are this slow,... this early,.... They tend to still be a little mouthy on thru the end of season !

I'm seeing this "tight lipped" krap, as a "good sign" !

What about you ?

I only know of one place where they are fired up in my area. They always seem to start early in that area and it is about 30 miles from my house. Here at the house I am seeing plenty of gobblers but have yet to here a gobbler. I took Jr. Saturday and saw 8 gobblers but no noise. I did see two strutting Tuesday afternoon.

Hey RIP...

I wuz travelin' down the "Trace" last week and I saw a bunch of dem big bearded boys just north of Mathiston. They were on both sides of the road.

I would wager that a sly dawg like yourself could....well, nevermind. I don't want to be an accessory to any type of legal infringement.

Good luck!

Had a lot of friends take kids this weekend all around here. No one said the birds were gobbling a lot, but they all had gobblers work. Struttin and drummin, and dieing!

I can't wait for Saturday!

Mine have not gobbled much until yesterday. He gobble 78 times on the roost and 8 times on the ground. That was at every owl, crow, mallard, everything.

Didn't get to go this morning cause of work. I'll be out there in the morning.
