potential breeding -GRHRCH SRSx2 Big Black Dude II MH pups

Postby kevindrewry » Tue Oct 25, 2011 7:18 pm

Just wanted to throw a thread out to see how much interest may be in a litter of puppies out of
GRHRCH SRSx2 Big Black Dude II MH x Mallard Manor's Adah. Both dogs have all health clearances. Magnolia's Hammerin' Hank and Adah have thrown two really nice litters that are doing so well! I kept one myself! I just want to see how much interest may be in this potential litter's arrival in the Spring....will be a lot of trouble to get this done but if I can move them...it will be worth it. Any thoughts?

Kevin-just ran across your thread on 3xSRS GRHRCH Big Black Dude II MH. I don't come on here very often.

In response to interest in Dude, I have some hunting buddies looking for pups and are interested in Dude pups. Just spent four days with them Duck Hunting in Guntersville and they hunted over Dude's sire, Boss. One guy is in Auburn Al. the other is in Athens Al. Jerry Day-Days End Retrievers told me he is also wanting a Dude pup from the right female.

David Oglesby has a litter ad posted on a breeding of a Blackwater Rudy female that is a titled HRCH to Dude, its listed on huntinglabpedigree.com and the pups are advertised at $1500.00. If you can come in at a little lower price point I think you could sell then quickly if you advertised them in the right places and got the word out.
As an FYI, Dude has added more acolades to his long list of accomplishments-winning the SRS Sporting Dog Cup for 2011 and was runner up in the SRS Crown Championship, he also won again this year in Huntsville, Al and earned his first leg on the MNH title.
All that said, another alternative for you at a more attractive price point but retaining the nice " Big Dog confirmation" and all the same Genetics of Dude's sire is a black yellow factored male sibling of my dog, Boss, located in Enterprise, Al. Owned by Bill Searcy and family. Jean O'Connor, Hatcreek Retrievers, Perry, Ga. bred to that dog, an 85 pound male, call name Sam, HR Sy Jack's Searcett Sam. Jean sold the litter of 10 pups within four days of whelping date for $1200.00 per pup, keeping one for herself, most were pre-sold prior to whelping. She had an even split of Yellows and Blacks in her litter.

Just send me a Facebook message and I'll give you details, contact info etc.

I don't own Dude nor do I own the brood matron but I know who does and am happy to provide it to you. Also, I don't act in any capacity as a broker or receive any financial enumration so I do this as requested.
All you need to do is go to the website: huntinglabpedigree and you wll see lots of litters on it, looks like Dude has two of them. Below is a link

I do have knowledge of Dude's ancestors though since I own three of them including his sire.
