Sausage biscuits

Postby champcaller » Fri Oct 21, 2011 11:26 am

There's a chill in the air, and that means a country gas station sausage biscuit is gonna be on the menu most mornins this season.

So I ask... Who has the best breakfast biscuit, whether it be sausage egg and cheese or tenderloin and fried egg in between a cathead, let's hear em..

My favorite is a SEC from davis grocery, perhaps it has to do with nestalgia ingredient.

The best is the 3way grocery just north of oxford. You can't beat it.

Biscuit Bar in Louisville MS has the best breakfast on the planet, I prefer the Bacon, Egg, Cheese sandwich.

Da best in the state is in the free state of Tallihatchie county. In Charleston on the corner of 32 and 35. Get you a tenderloin biscuit and grazy. You'll slap you momma, grnadma, great-great grandma and yo buddies with you.

It been years sense I’ve been to Naw Naw’s but at our last work day I had my grandson and took him to the Biscuit Bar while everyone else was hunting. I was told to put eating here on the to do list from now on when he comes with me.

I just ate at the a new place called 3-Way its where the Knight Cycle place was going into Merigold off of 61 good stuff worth the stop.

Yall are gonna laugh at me, and you cant beat a good pre-dawn biscuit out at s curb store on the coutry, but Dairy Queen...yes I said Dairy Queen...has a legit Sausage Egg and cheese biscuit. You have to get the sausage egg and cheese combo because the plain sausauge biscuit doesnt have the butter painted on the biscuit, but take a big boys word for it, and a sausage biscuit connesuier that biscuit is awesome! But they arent open "pre dawn" and not out in the country where we travel....but if'n your in town and want one, try it....i'll bet good money you wont disagree with me.

Ace, it is just a Vanilla vs Chocolate thing, everybody has different taste. I was raised with Mrs. Bonnie's cooking and I perfer my biscuits cooked in a Iron Skillet and not on an Aluminum Cookie Sheet.

If you're leaving Madison after 4:30 ...stop at Penn's/Shell station at 55 and get a big cup..... grits/eggs/sauage and cheese.
