Gone at 14, led a great life, and will never be forgotten.
The Heavens must be expecting a big duck season, they're calling some good dogs home.

I'm sorry to hear about Spud. I remember him from years ago and would imagine he was one of the first brit dogs to be competitive in hunt tests.

RIP Spud. He was gonna be EMD's babydaddy before the faux heart scare. He has offspring that are HRCH/MH dogs running the MN.

I remember Spud from way back. RIP.

Man, I just recently purchased a Sweep pup from Haynes. I was looking at Spud and Sweep, being that Spud was older and didn't have any litters available during the time frame I was looking I went with Sweep pup and couldn't be happier so far. From what I heard from Haynes and others Spud was a top notch dog.

Steve if i'm not mistaken he bred one last time and has a upcoming litter, right?

yeah, it's been that long..here's a blast from the past, a group of dogs I was so fortunate to have been around. They're all gone now, except for the brown one in the middle, and bless her heart, her day is approaching. From left, Spud, Tram, Chipper, Colt, and Clipper.

Very sorry to read this Steve. I wish there was a way to get dogs to stick around longer. That last picture sure has some great dogs in it.
