Ladies and Gents,

I know this subject has probably been beaten to death on this site but I am looking for some good advice. I recently bought a truck and I want to invest in a 2-hole box with storage on top...I can best describe it as your standard toolbox with a top hatch for storage that overlaps the truck bed's side rails (like a crossover UWS/Delta, etc.) + two boxes underneath for your dog(s). I am looking for something that will work well in the heat of summer as well as the cold of winter. I have contacted Mountaintop to ask if they build anything that would fit this description and I'm waiting to hear back from them, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time.

With a little more searching on my part I found this (almost exactly what I'm looking for) -- http://www.ainleykennels.com/DogDeluxeDoubleCrate.htm

Yall have any info on delivery of a box like this (in particular the costs???)

Thanks.

UWS makes one, I bought mine from Ricks Pro Truck.

Word of advice, no matter what brand crossover box you get, they don't get very good ventilation, so if you aren't moving, take the dogs out. They could overheat very quickly.

But, I really do like mine. It's very convenient to be able to have a box right there all the time. And to top storage is semi-practical.

i had an ainley double deluxe and loved it. has a ton of top storage that is easy to get to. Got good ventilation and kept dogs comfortable in modest heat. ended up getting rid of mine when I slowed down running test, but sometimes wish I still had the top storage for all my junk. I think new they run $2600 or so, but you might be able to find a used one for about half that if you are willing to look around and ride a few miles to get it.
