Feeder Problems

Postby Todd D » Thu Aug 18, 2011 8:22 am

I have a broadcast feeder made by Wildlife Konnections and I am having a problem with the motor. When I attach a battery the motor starts turning and won't stop until I take the battery off. I used it last year with no problems, now it is acting crazy. Does anyone know why this might be happening because I can't get it to work right. All of the connections look fine, actually the motor still looks brand new. I looked up Wildlife Konnections on the internet and can't find a contact number.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you can take the timer off, dip it in some alcohol a few times and let dry. it could be as simple as a spider web between to points to a short, to a blown resistor. i would bet its just some corrosion on the board that the alcohol will clean off..

Thanks, I never thought of that. I will give it a try.
