won't happen unfortunately.

I talked with one of the head waterfowl biologists in arkansas and according to him there are only around 700,000 specks.

I was very surprised to hear it was that low.

He said the reason we are seeing more is because the spec flyway is shifting east from texas due to the rice farming practices.

Sure would be nice, though. They have quickly become one of my favorite calling and decoying birds.
