Fordland's Bored Out Ford (04/12/97-06/22/11)
Just letting everyone know that Ford passed away yesterday. He had a great career FC-AFC at the age of 2 and the Purina High Point Amateur Dog in 2002. Please keep Sam in your thoughts and prayers!

My condolences to Sam. I had the pleasure of watching Ford run in training and in a few trials. He's one of the reasons I caught the bug for this game. A fantastic career and his mark on the games will be felt forever.

Ford was truly one of the greats. I saw him only once. He was running an event during Wings Over the Prairie behind Mack's. He won it hands down. Until that time I had only witnessed two types of labs. Plodders who did the job with no joy and out of control maniacs. Ford gave me a glimpse of what a lab can be. I have trained hard and only hope to one day own such a dog.
My condolences to Mr. Sam. RIP Ford.

Sorry for your loss Sam. Glad I can say I met Ford but only after he had achieved "house dog status". One special dog.
