Hug Your Kids

Have a couple in my parents church that i grew up in that has to make a decision this morning to take their 3yo son off of life support. Cole was thought to have had strep throat thursday and or hand/foot/mouth. Sunday he was airlifted to UMC from Laurel and was unresponsive. Yesterday he was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis(sp) and was been declared brain dead. The family has decided to donate his organs so that other children can live. If you think about it, say a prayer for the Cotten Family. This family has had a child that was born still 2 years ago after carrying it full term. Just a tuff time for this family. Thanks fellas..

Wow, that's awful. I can't even begin to comprehend what they must be going through. Praying.

Hey guys, ive never posted but have been reading forums a while. Felt the need to respond here though. Ive been at the hospital since sun. at 11:30pm, as Cole was my cousin and me and his grandpa (my uncle) work together. He was removed from life support at 1:30pm. For those of you who believe in the power of prayer, please remember Caley, David, Emma (6yr old sister) , Donnis, and Monica. Its been the hardest thing ive ever been around. They need all the prayer they can get right now. thank you, mg

prayers sent, went through the toughest thing so far with my little guy last week and it tore me up, can't imagine it being any worse but this family is living it, serious prayers going up

As a father of 3 I can't even imagine what the family is going thru. PRAYERS sent for everyone.
