Looking to take a fishing trip this summer. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking to get away from the heat so we're looking out west for trout or maybe even B.C. for some salmon/halibut. Anyone who has some feedback on a lodge/outfitter would be appreciated.

Do it right go to alaska. For trout go to coopers landing and go to trout fitters. Halibut you will want to go out of homer.

Rapids Camp Lodge on the Naknek River in King Salmon, Alaska. You fish the Naknek for a few days and then they will fly you in floatplane to more remote rivers for a couple of days. I fished there several times last year and caught a number of 30"+ rainbows. Your not gonna get anywhere in the same ballpark of quality trout in the lower 48. They also have good salmon and steelhead runs. You could also fish Halibut out of seward or somewhere like that for a day.
