...taking a moment to congratulate my friend and training partner Tony Stafford and Daisee on their Grand title...a ton of blood sweat and TEARS have gone into working for this title...the dog really had the title quite some time ago but that's another story for another day...any way bro I wanted to say congrats on a well deserved title...you've earned it enjoy...

...Tony sit back and think of the early days as we went along learning to train...making mistakes and learning from them...the tail gate discussions...the good and the bad all of it is worth it...what a journey it has been...I am proud of our TEAM...

congrats to all who passed this Grand...a pass at the SFHRC Grand was well earned!!! A Grand title at SFHRC is waaaay cool...glad I was there to witness it :!: :!: :!:

Congrats! You've come a long way and getting the title yourself should be a feeling second to none.

All the Southern Flight crew have evolved into a very solid group of guys with a good training sense.

Its cool that I've been around since 1999 when I got Eddie as my first dog, lost touch for a few months and came back. The new group that was just getting started when I came back are now all at the Grand Level, training to Grand standard, understanding why & how. We've all learned so much from each other and the new guys coming into the club are beating the learning curve because of the talent Southern Flight has to offer and they do so willingly. Probably one of the most accomplished groups of amateurs around.

Steve Vires, Glenn Dye, & Travis, have been there from the begining. Helping, metoring, giving advice, throwing birds. Giving unselfishly hours of their time to the cause. Steve Vires who makes a living training dogs never misses a beat offering advice, tips, his property to anyone and everyone at no charge. Thats huge and speaks volumes of his character.

I am very proud to be a part of Southern Flight. Congrats to all the members that ran and worked!

Congratulations, Tony. Welcome to the club!!!! I know the feeling of having one Grand pass, then coming close only to fall short two or three times in a row when trying for the ever elusive second Grand pass. When my second one finally came, I felt more relieved than happy. Don't get me wrong. I was very happy. But I think I was even more relieved.

Great job. See ya in Canada.

Congrats Tony. I've only been with Southern Flight for just over a year, but it didn't take long to see what family it is. I'm very proud for you and what your team has accomplished. I'm glad I was there and got to see you guys run...from the "good" seats.

Tony - - Words can't express how happy we all are to see that GRHRCH title for you and daisy. I feel very blessed to be a part of it. congratulations.

Gene - - I am also very glad to be a part of that first grand pass for Bear. Seems like only a few years ago when we met and you introduced me to a goofy footed black dog. I knew he had it in him all along. Congratulations also...

Thanks also to all the SF guys.....

Dont know where to begin but Thanks for all the kind words.

It has been a journey that I will not soon forget and hope to do it again someday with another dog. Like someone said above I feel more relieved than anything else. I told her when she was 4 months old when I realized I had a special animal that I would take her as far as she wanted to go. The olny thing that would hold her back was me and I let her down in her 1st Grand and has haunted me until April 6, 2011. My inexperience in the upland cost her a pass in the first one we ever ran at the Old South Georgia Grand. We skipped Iowa and passed at South Dakota and then failed 3 in a row. I lost faith and didnt think we would ever get that elusive and heralded 2nd pass. However getting to share her title run with all my Southern Flight family made it ALL worth while.

A special thanks to all the volunteers that worked their tails off to put on the MISSISSIPPI Grand so that I could play the doggie games.

....and GRHRCH UH R.P's Darlin' Daisee MH call name Daisee says thanks also!!!!! man that sounds good to be able to say that out loud!!!!! I finally gots me a gur dawg!
