SME and I would like to say a big thanks to Mark Evans and crew for putting on a great hunt and really taking care of the judges. The food was excellent, the grounds were great, the dogs were pretty sharp, and the "bird technicians" were off the charts. Thanks especially to Denise for putting up with me, and Joel, BarryB and Mr. Bob McCall for marshalling for us. BarryB was THE most organized marshall I have ever had at a test. And, I learned what a "rubbish bag" is this weekend. Who knew?

Your right Mark, you could not have judged for a better club. As many years I have been judging I can not remember ever not having to handle ducks. This is the first weekend as a judge that I did not touch a duck other than to take it from my dog as test dog.
Amite did a bang us job as usual.

Well organized, excellent equipment, hard working marshalls, an entertaining co-judge, and great dogs to watch run! Amite even managed to arrange for sunshine all weekend. I was most impressed. Seriously, thanks for the invite and the hospitality.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I can't say enough about our club members who worked our test. As everyone knows, a good test does not just happen. We had many members who volunteered- several who did not run their dogs. That's dedication to your club. Thanks to all of the ARHRC members that worked, thanks to all of our excellent judges who gave up their weekend so we could run our dogs, and thanks to everyone who came from out of town to compete.

BTW, Mark, the "rubbish bags" were located right next to the sodas!!!!!

Now, it's on to the Grand for many of us. Good luck to everyone.
