Kinda hard to say from that distance. Maybe if you had a little more lense...
It's probably just a hormonal imbalance or genetic pigmentation deficiency, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the "illegitimate child" son of that "confused redhead" you captured courting that hen can last year.

+1 - looks like an old hen, based a lot on the eye color.
