Does anyone shoot 3 1/2" hevi-shot? What choke do you use? I'm just doing a little research to figure out which one to go with. I have either #5's or #6's.

I get a better pattern at 40 yards with 3" hevi shot than 3 1/2 ......Im putting it through a jelly head choke tube, shooting #5's

If money is an object, jellyhead will do great...but, I not go with Indian Creek.... 3" loads work slightly better in my experience too...

Nothing wrong with trulock, I use them in my duck guns, what constriction are you using?

Hevi shot markets a choke especially for use with Hevi Shot
I have one and it shoots better out of my SBE 2 than anything else I've tried
282 pellets in a pie plate at 40 yards with 3.5" Hevi 13
198 in a pie plate at 40 yards with 3" #5 Winchester supremes

Think I'm gonna go with a jellyhead. It's a lot cheaper than the rest and I have had way more people to tell me to get one than any of the others. If it doesn't pattern well, I haven't lost too much money.

Yep, good starting point. The nice thing about Rhino and Indian Creek is if you aren't getting the pattern you want they will work with you on getting a choke that patterns like you want...but they are twice what a jellyhead costs, and that jellyhead is plenty good for most stuff...and seriously get a box of the 3" 2oz 6's I think you will like them better than the 3.5's....

So have you found a tube that works well with the hevi13 in your Beretta (Extrema?). With all the different tube, gun, shell combinations, it is a pretty challenging to find a starting point. Have any of you Extrema owners found that outstanding combination? Been shooting the hevi13 #6 out of the factory tube but looking to tighten it up a bit.
