Last year Scott Van Pelt talked me into buying some and I got a little rose bush thing...It came in and looked nothing like in the picture it was just a bunch of buds non bloomed yet...I was a little pissed off but regular flowers may be different

most of the time when you order on there, it gets sent to a local florist for delivery.
I've used them with good results, but they are expensive.

+1, local florist take care of you. If they don't at least you can let them know how you feel face to face.

Whatever you do with 1800-flowers, DON'T sign up for freeshipping.com which will be an option at the end of your order that will save you $5-$8 on shipping.
Freeshipping.com is a SCAM and will sign you up for a monthly subscription without you knowing unless you read the small print. I didn't even notice it on my credit card bill until the 2nd or 3rd month.....$14 charge/month. Luckily credit card company took care of getting me removed.

Just go local they will work with you and flowers will be fresh. Also sometimes the flowers youget from the national places just come in a box not in an arrangement.
