Marinade it with what ever you like, I use Dales and Zesty Italian for this.

marinade for about 1-2 hours
lay out flat and put cream cheese and either pickled jalapeno or fresh peppers in the middle
roll it up and wrap bacon around it and then put 1 or 2 toothpicks in them to hold it together
put them on the grill and when the cheese starts to run out or the bacon is done take them off
and enjoy

We call them Deer Poppers when we use deer tenderized steak and the folks I have cooked them for out here in Texas love them.

Youd be surpised how good they are if you leave the liquid salt (dales) and acid (italian) off of them..................

Do them just like you said roll thm in egg wash flower and deep fry them and they are even better.............

Duckaholic, that is a good idea I will try it. I had just gotten tired of flouring and frying them and started doing them like that on the grill for about 5 years now.
