It does not miss or run ruff it just won't open all the way up

Add a pint of 8 year Old Charter to the tank. It gives me added horsepower.

If that doesn't work, a fifth of old crow will definitely clean out the 'guts'

Have you been running gas with ethanol?

If so, drain the carb and use a good spray carb cleaner into it, let it drain, spray drain, 2-3 times. Then be sure to use either ethanol free or use a very good marine gas treatment in trhe gas.

Do you have an old tank or is the gas you're using old? It could simply be trash in the carb. Either way, drain the carb and use good gas.

i had one that did that.. take the cowling off and it would run correct. replace cowl and it would run good for a minute or then back bogged down. turns out i had a exhaust leak. it was just a gasket that was leaking on the port side of engine.

we are but I jave been running my boat without more than 2 to 3 days in between hunts. It ran fine till mid hunt this mornin

Sounds like trash in the carb. Unscrew the drain plug and let it all drain out.

get it running and take the clowing off and spray seafoam into the carbs. it will smoke like a wood stove but that won't hurt. try running it wide open. if it don't spray more seafoam and keep doing that till it cleans the carbs. then every time you fill your tank pour a can of seafoam in with some blue stabil. after a tank or two like that you won't need that much seafoam. it's like the old maid using a rubber on a banana. just a little extra precaution.

Spraying Carb cleaner MAY work (depending on how clogged the jet is) but removing and cleaning them will ensure complete removal of the trash..

carb needs cleaning

Scrub down the high speed jet, air it out and I guarantee it'll work. Or your money back.

I just dropped 550 a month to have all 3 carbs rebuilt.

I will try draining them tomorrow and run some seafoam in it and
c what that does

If that don't work it could be the stator... Better hope it ain't to the tune of about $400.
