dont do much searching for arrowheads/indian artifacts, but I love to get on the sandbars in the summertime when the water is low and search for bones

found a good many last year...mostly buffalo/bison I learned it was very common for Indians to heard bison over the steep banks of the MS for mass kills

no dinosaur finds as of yet, find a lot of interesting stuff though

Check this one out Doc, found it on the Mighty, also found the snoot of a three toed horse and a few other real old bones. You only find this stuff when the Mighty is at it's very lowest in summer, in the rock piles that come out then.

thats awesome! any idea what sort of bone it is?

one of the biologists at DSU has helped me identify and carbon date the bones

I had some guy look at it he said it was a dinasour I can remember which one.

its the upper leg bone of My X mother in Law (Terra X's MOMMA) is the offical name of the species.
