depending on gun the new 50-11 single modified barrell added 34 yards to my range

Cut the barrel off to 20 inches and install a 6 inch Patternmaster... Gets the job done

To get more range out of your gun, you swap chokes out.
For close shots use an IC, medium range shots go with a modified, longer shots go with a full choke.

So if I walked up to your kid in Wal Mart and called him a retard or a little homo to his face or said his mother was a whore, that's ok? He just needs tougher skin? Is it different because we are on the internet where as that wouldn't be ok in person but since its on the internet, it's alright? I don't think so. That may be an extreme analogy, but I feel it is about correct.

I would try playing with different chokes and shell combinations. The very farthest to ever wanna shoot a duck is probably 45-50 yards. I'm sure there are folks out there who killed one "dead" at 70 yards today with some type of 4" shell and an aftermarket choke, but this is a low percentage shot every time. There is a little bit to the aftermarket chokes (I don't use one), but it wont replace well taken shot opportunities. The best way to improve your accuracy is patience and knowing limits.
