Alright guys, my puppy is teething and she is in a foul and rebelious mood. she doesn't want to do anything and she is getting into stuff that she has previously ignored for the past eight weeks. We have cut out all retrieving and fetching. I am wondering how long this should last and when will I be able to tell that she is ready to start retrieving again.

give it a few weeks. Try canvas bumpers or paint rollers. Or just wait it out, she wont forget how to retrieve

ranger lost most of his baby teeth the monday and tues after opening day this season. He had been doing bumpers and such and then i noticed he only wanted to grab the rope then after further inspection i noticed his gums were bleeding. My kids loved it that monday and tues they were scouring the house for his teeth. For me it lasted bout 2 weeks his permanents are coming in and last week we went back to bumpers and man he was fired up when he saw the bag and bumpers. I agree work on obedience i should have worked it harder at the time but we still revisit it in some form or fashion every day. I used an old sock to let him retrieve at the house which seemed to help burn off some energy.
