Ducks in the North Delta?

Postby hbrown » Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:35 pm

Anyone having any luck in the North delta around Tunica or Clarksdale? I've been swamped here at work and haven't had anythime to go. Thinking about playing hookie and hitting my lease soon...

Not worth it at all.
Save your day incase you really need it.
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
Cheers, Georgie.

+1 it's been real slow on our place at Friars Point and haven't heard any shooting around us either. Hope tomorrow is different since I did take me a day off to go.

That's what I've been hearing from everyone I know. Anyone else got any reports?

A few greys around Darling/Falcon area. Not much of anything else in great numbers as of yet.

Didn't fire a shot last weekend. Prob saw only 200 total ducks in 2 days and most looked like they were trying to keep up with airlines. That was just before this cold front though.

Had a friend go down this am, and killed 1. He said there wasn't hardly any flying. Hopefully this front will push some more birds across the river.

We saw plenty this morning, but they were all wearing oxygen masks. Maybe next the ones coming down next week will stay in our atmosphere.

How are you guys not killing green? Guys in southwest mississippi on one spot have killed 270 birds and 170 of them mallards. All around mid day on a cypress lake.

No clue. Just a slow starting season. I guess.
