Bayou Classic Special for Duck South

Postby DUCKAHOLIC » Wed Dec 01, 2010 1:04 pm

We brought some heavy steel grills in form Mexico but the specs were not exacly what we wanted..................so I have been told to move them out for the new ones that are coming........

I have a 24 x 18 without a smoker box...................275.00 this one retails for 600-700

I have a 36x18 with a 17x18 smoker box...............475.00 this one retails for 1100-1200

these are thick steel grills that your grand kids will end up owning once you are gone, the shelf on the front and bottom is steel that is paited to look like wood. I got about 20-25 of each once they are gone and the new ones come in we will not see these prices again

Not trying to offend but, and I am sure I'll get some reprecussion

All of the talk going on around about Mexico and imports from everywhere then trying to sell them on a predominantly southern USA
hunting site guess I am confused,
send them back to Mexico

Don't send them all back, cause I want one.

Johnny, Thanks for offering these grills and all the other specials you have to Ducksouth members. I call you Monday with my information.

Tell ya what slick if u don't want it dont buy it....better yet check all of your hunting stuff and see where its made.....we still get many items from the U S, as a matter of fact I contacted several manufacturers here to have that exact grill made they were either to swamped or to high priced for us to resale at retail.....please dont jump into an issue know nothing about

Are u in sales?? Do u use a computer...made in the us? Is everything u own u s made?

I dddnt post this to get in a pissing match with u and The only items I have ever posted were things we were selling at below cost and I passed it on to "friends" here.....I promise if u dont buy one we will not close up shop

Well I apologize if I ruffled your feathers there Slick
I honestly hope for your sake you sell them all and as in first line I didn't intend to offend and very well knew comment wouldn't be liked and sure aint in no whizzing contest just an opinion (oops forgot we can't do that in the USA anymore either) supposed to just sit back and take it how it comes, guess we could go over seas for our opinions and they would be well received huh

Just folks in general complain about no jobs in the US and having to buy imported stuff and nobody wants to do anything about it,

I guess you get what you pay for
