Mad Hatters versus Wild Petrinos

Postby Bourbon » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:18 am

Should be an interesting game. Our defense performs better against a more traditional offense, like Bama and Arkansas. But our secondary is dealing with some injuries and is young, but talented. No doubt Mallet will have a good day and with the emergence of Davis, Piggies offense is more balanced.

Mad Hatters seems to have found the all elusive secret playbook we have been hearing about the past three years. Here's hoping there are still some unused pages in there for this weekend.

Thought or predictions?

I was nervous about the Ole Miss game with good reason and I am nervous about this game. I think it is a good matchup with our defense agains the Piggie aerial attack.

Here's to a good weekend and wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Arky will probably win due to home field advantage and improved play from their running back Davis. You almost have to pick your poison with them right now. Key is pressure on Mallett and Arky's ability to counter the pressure with draws and hot routes.

Arkansas 35-24.

As an aside, I really don't care that much if LSU loses because I feel like LSU is playing with house money. There is no way this LSU team should have won 10 games, yet they did somehow. Very impressive job by a not so impressive coach. If LSU can get past Oregon in the first game of the year next year somehow, someway, I think the national title will be decided in BDS in early November next year.
