reason I ask this is because they are showing good chance of rain in east mississippi opening morning and I'm not a real huge fan of duck hunting in the rain

Quit being a wanker and suck it up. I'm a working man, therefore if I have the chance to go I'm not sleeping in because of mother nature.

Some of my best hunts have happened in the rain.. Long as it aint lightning, I am gonna be there.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

Timber is actually not the best choice in the rain and clouds. But if your where they wanna be it don't matter. I ain't countin on no ''Cold'' rain niether more lukwarm, prob be sunny and 75 degrees.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

Seriously, if its raining, I find a flooded field to hunt. If its sunny, I try to find some timber to hunt. I have never had success hunting timber in the rain. But one things for sure- If I can go, Im going come hell or high water.
