Anyone gotten their arrows fletched there? They did a schitty job on mine. Had two arrows come apart while on the bow.

buy a jig and fletch them yourself. Will pay for itself pretty quickly with the price most shops want to fletch arrows

Yeah i bought a jig after last season. I don't know if I'm doing em the correct way or not, but at least they are consistent. Every person you take em to is gonna set it up differently. Least I know all my arrows are the same.

Yes, buy you a fletching jig and do them yourself. They're really not that much trouble to do. Decide if you want to shoot straight or offset (can be done with the same set of clamps) or helical. I purchased a jo-jan 6 arrow fletcher off of archery talk and the guy happened to have some of each clamps. I got 3 straight and 3 helical clamps.
Instructions: scrape all the old glue/fletching etc off arrow with a razor blade. Clean arrow thoroughly with acetone. Also, clean the surface of the vane where the glue is placed (plastic only...no need to clean feathers) Run a nice bead of glue on the vane, place in clamp and press it to the arrow. Make sure you decide how far forward/back you want the fletchings to be on your arrow, mark the clamp at the rear of the fletching to give you a consistently fletched arrow...this will give you a reference point by which to place each feather/vane in the clamp thus making them consistent for all 3. For vanes allow 15 mins to dry at a minimum, for feathers allow 30 mins to dry at a minimum. Once all 3 are done, take your glue and put a dot of glue at the front of each vane and the rear of each vane...this will sorta enclose the ends and will act as a line of defense against them snagged and pulled off by something.

ACTUALLY....place the feather/vane in the clamp THEN put the glue on it. Just realized I typed it wrong.

The ole Arizona easy fletch works well also and the price is decent.

ive been waiting for someone with deeper pockets than myself to walk in and stroke a check to buy him out. Aint no telling how much money someone could make without him in there.

buy some of those NAP Quickfletch's from Bass Pro. I know several people that are shooting them and they are happy as can be. I've had the same problem out of Bill's with my arrows.

+1 I was having the same problem out of another bow shop decided to try the quickfletch and I will not shoot anything else now!!

I bought some nap quick fletch from academy and after using them went back and bought more. All you need is a pot of boiling water and you can fletch all your arrows at home.
