I have a question about my bow: I have had problems getting my arrows to group right using a fixed broad head. I went to expandables and that seemed to fix the problem. I hate the expandables and wanted to go back to thunderhead. So, I refletched my arrows to line up with my blades. This fixed the problem and the bow shoots fine like that but it is a lot of work when you have to refletch an arrow just to line it up with the blades. Is there an easier way to do this? I have had the bow tuned and shoot the full metal jackets. Any suggestions?

Well, if you're using a hot melt type glue in insert you can simply heat the insert and spin the broadhead/insert combo until the blades line up with the vanes.

Thats what I usually do.

thunderheads typically come with an o-ring an a washer of sorts, snug the broad head up then tighten until the blades match the fletchings. you gonna have to replace the o rings if you take the blades off, but this generally works well.

At my bow shop when we need to line up broadheads and the inserts are already glued in, we take a small plastic washer and place in between the broadhead and the arrow and this will give you enough room to ajust the broadhead to the fletchings while still keeping the broadhead tight. But the best way is definatly screw the blade into the insert then put glue on it and put it in and align it and let the glue dry.
