South on I55

anybody else trying to kill ducks south of the Interstate and with what kind of success. we got 8 gadwalls the last 2 mornings. there is a nasty rumor there are less than 1500 ducks at st. catherine creek nwr, they havent even hunted in 2 weeks bc of the water level.

I55 ends in LaPlace La so I guess south of it would mean the New Orleans area? Lots of commorants around there 8)

Seriously I do know of a group who shot near a four man limit sometime in the past few days at St. Catherines. And yes it was four hunters, not one of those outlaw "groups" that consist of two hunters and 20 ducks.

Almost killed a huge buck deer one time while 'south on I55' but judgement got the best of me. Law dogs frown on that kinda stuff 'round here.

St. Catherine's has been closed for the past two weeks.. Salt Lake and Butler Lake close when the river gauge (Natchez)hits 28....Lake Gilliard closes at 32..Your friends got some 'splainin to do.
