Coach Mullen is the man!

As a UGA fan, it was nice to watch......Urban looked like he had been kicked in the nuts at the end of the game. I hope they dont win another game the rest of the season and sit at the house in January.

MSU better watch out. Mullen will be on the short list when Florida fires Urban. AND he will go.

I dont think Mullen will leave for florida if the job is offered. I hope not anyway. I think that the man has a passion for his team and what he has accomplished with State and would like to see his hard work pay off in the long run. But, then again money walks and ........ well you get the Idea.

i agree, but Florida has a $700 million slush fund for just such a thing. I'd like to see him stay and bring some football respect back to this state.

As a MSU alumni, I hate to say it, but coaching almost lost the Fla. game....throwing only 9 passes the entire game, and none the entire second half, hardly keeps the opposing defense, guessing or off-balance....Fla. beat us in nearly every statistic, except the final score....the win is great, but it was a result of some great MSU defense, and Heath Hutchins golden foot....he put Fla. in the hole with every punt!!!

Mullen did what he had to do to get the win. State beat Florida up front, were it counts. Kickem right in the teeth in there own house. Say what you want but Mullen did the right thing, and made a statement across the sidelines.

One-dimensional offense won't win many games....some, yes, but not very many....State better find their passing game because they don't have any screw-up-teams like Fla. left on their schedule....and, if Relf gets hurt, T. Russell is better at passing, than he is at running....those two missed chip-shot field goals would have won the game for Fla.....I'm just glad we got a couple of lucky breaks, and won the game....lucky breaks don't happen too often for State.

Always kinda funny to me when fans complain about the "way" their team won. Its a win folks, a w is a w, their is no column for how they won, be glad its not an L. As a coach, you make plans for one game at a time and Mullen made plans to beat Florida on the ground- and he did just that. That plan wont work with other teams so I'm confident he'll make the necessary adjustments to keep his team in the game, gotta give props to Mullen on a job well done.

Considering Florida leads the nation in interceptions, I think State knew exactly what they were doing in not throwing in the second half.

russell....he's surprised me with the keeps he's had and yardage he's gained on most of them. he doesn't look as fluid as relf running, but he can tuck it and run...unlike lee last year/year before.

+1 Their db's are possibly the best group in the country. Why pass if you can run b/w the tackles for 3-6 yards enough plays to keep you out of terrible field position? Esp when our qb's are notorious for throwing ints.

Actually, they are tied with Ala. for that statistic....nonetheless, I just want State to be a more convincing winner....they've got a tough row-to-hoe in the upcoming weeks ahead....just saying.

STATE BEAT FLORIDA at the SWAMP, who gives ashat what they looked like or how they won, i'd rather have a lucky team(for once) and win than look good losing
