Just now getting a chance to upload a few photos from teal season. I missed opening weekend due to some business obligations. I started off my season on the first Thursday of the season. We hosted Drake's Migration Nation on the last of their 3 day hunt in the MS Delta. THey hunted the first 2 days with Click and Ramsey Russell and limited out the first 2 days so expectations were high. We ended up with 8 hunters that day and we all limited out by 7:45 am. I really enjoyed meeting J Paul Jackson and the film crew from Road Dawg Media. I dont have any photos from that days hunt but it leads into the weekend after that. I called Ramsey and asked him why he didnt come out on the 3rd day and he said he had other obligations so we decided to hunt that Saturday. He brought all 3 of his kids and told me that Parker had never shot a duck. We all agreed that no one would shoot until she got a shot. Well at first light a blue wing landed in the decoys and she KOd him with one shot. We ended the day with all 15 shooters limiting out by 8 am.




We ended up going out with a bang on the last weekend as well. We shot 8 man limits on Saturday and Sunday. One of my members shot a blue wing that was banded in North Dakota on September 12. Talk about a fast trip





We picked up this property just recently and ended up killing 45 limits of teal on it.

my poor old dog nearly went crazy around Delta and Ella. He aint been around too many high end females like that......

The youngest one is 5, he is Drake, better known as Double Tap. He got that name because he always gives em both barrells of his over and under .410. I think I am going to have to get a second job to buy them shells......

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed hunting with you. I also need to give a special thanks to Click and Ramsey for showing us such a good time. We could not have started the season with better hunts or better people.

It is also good to see you out there with the kids. I think thats speaks for itself, and helps demonstrate how comitted you are to the Magration Nation. Thanks again for having us. We look forward to many happy returns!

the day he came i left my camera at home. i would have loved to had some shots with our group that day. they had other arrangements that morning to do some filiming from a plane over the delta so no one stayed around for pics any way.
