Dakota Pheasant Hunt

Postby adilley59 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 8:55 am

I want to plan a Dakota Pheasant hunt for this year. If any body has any suggestions on outfitters or where to stay would be helpful. We are also looking to do a little fishing while we are in that part of the country as well. Suggestions or ideas are welcomed, thanks in advance.

getducks.com. They have a pheasant hunt trip that a few of the msduckers have gone on.

I've been with pheasant meadows twice. They are northeast of Pierre, South Dakota. Excellent hunts, plenty of birds and just good people. Punch in "pheasant meadows" and it will show up.

If I did not go with Ramsey, I would get with Dihl at Horseshoe K Ranch. I have been there several times.

This is definitely the way to go. I was part of a group that went opening weekend last year and had an absolute blast. HIGHLY recommended.

You cant make it to the work weekend, but you can make a trip across the country to pheasant hunt. I see where your priorities are.

A few of us went to this place last weekend through Ramsey. We had a lot of fun. Nice lodge, nice food, good people.
