Welp another SFHRC hunt test in the books...well almost. Powell still has some paperwork to complete and send off to HRC and UKC. We gona try and knock out tonite now cuz I know a few that are needing quailifing points for the Grand. Not gona try to name everyone by name because in no way do I want to leave one person out. Everyone stepped up once again and gave back to the HRC family and put on a, I felt like, a very successful hunt. I dont know what the final $$ numbers will be but that is not what is was about. It about hanging out with the HRC family and playing dog games. I think we ran somewhere in the neighborhood +/- 275 dogs total. (50-55 Started) (60 Seasoned) (160+/- Finished) and unfortunately turned some dogs away. It was one of our hottest temperature wise hunts that I have been associated with. I think we went thru 30 cases of water alone not including sodas (as powell calls them). I am sure that I wasnt the only one that was late for work with there tail dragging. Hopefully we will see some post and pictures of the soakings that took place for titles and passes.Congrats to all.

Again thanks to the Judges, Southern Flight crew and several other HRC club members that jumped in feet first and dedicated their time and effort so that we could play the dog games that we all love.

Outstanding hunt test. Southern Flight has it right in all aspects.

Thanks for running my Wagars both days Tony. Even Travis said I should just send him with you to the Grand instead of me running him!

Congrats on 500 points on Daisy.

No problem Janet. I will be glad to run him anytime. He was on auto pilot. He is a very nice dog and the first chocolate dog to be on my truck.

It was a blast...still dragging at work though. It was a pleasure to marshal for the started judges and handlers, they were all great folks, and the pup getting two passes was icing on the cake!!! It was a lot of fun with truly great people; I can't say thank you enough to everyone involved!!

We could have used some air conditioning though. It was a little bit warm.

I drove over to be able to hang out with some good friends and a great group of people. And I was not disappointed. My granddaughter had a great time meeting another group of dog friends.

Tony, I am glad he ran nice for you. He is a really nice dog.
