Guys- To make sure this meeting is accessable to as many people as possible-Please give some thought to a location where we can get the most participation as possible. We have an excellent opportunity to get some info on heartworms in our area from someone in the know! Tentatively it is scheduled for the Como Steakhouse, but might be a little too far for some on a Thursday night?


"Everybody! Our Sept Meeting will be Thursday night the 16th which will be the third Thursday of the month rather than the fourth. Gwen Jones has secured DVM Rick Vincent as a guest speaker. Dr. Vincent practices in Hernando, MS and has been very involved and active with the recent heartworm studies and research. He will be talking about recent findings and ongoing research specific to our area which has become a heartworm hot bed. This ought to be an excellent opportunity for us to get and inside scoop straight from someone in the know!

Como Steak House is a tentative for this meeting, they have an excellent meeting room that can hold 30 or 40 people and accommodate a speaker. If anyone else has a better idea more centrally located, please feel free to post.

This meeting is open to anyone and everybody regardless of club affiliation! This is a topic that affects us all."

Charles I like were it is and I do plan on coming and bring my wife when she heared that the meeting was being held at the Steakhouse and she said why dont we go to the meeting this week, so I will be going to Como Thursday night no matter what

I believe there would be more involvement/interest for the people who live in the greenwood/Grenada area if the meeting were in a more centralized location (like Como) and it wasn't a 90 mile drive each way.

The other upside is the "secluded" meeting room that can accomodate a bunch of people and make having a speaker easy.
