3.5" Question ????

Postby Str8Meat » Sun Jan 11, 2004 3:50 pm

Just wanted to know how many people are using the 3.5" shells. Lately I have been shooting Kent Fasteel 3.5" 1 3/8 oz. BB and #2 shot with a mod. choke. Getting good patterns from the 870 and stopping the birds cold. Post up with your GO-TO hunting load. 8)

The new Federal Premium loads. 3.5" in BB. These loads are HOT. May give HeviShot a run for its money.

3" Winchester Xpert Steel HV 1& 1/8 oz #2's...1550 FPS - puts X's on the eyes of ducks and geese and I get real good range out of them. I was a Kent fan until I started shooting these AND they are inexpensive.

Do you shoot the Kents out of one and the Dryloks out of the other, and why?
Just curious.
