Ok, hope I don't get jumped on for this. Me, bluwtr, and one of my other buddies are coming to hunt Muscadine Farms on Jan 22, we are entertaining the thought of hunting Sunflower on Friday the 23. Could someone give me an update on the water levels there in the sunflower greentree system? If you don't want to broadcast, please feel free to pm me. I hunted the sunflower greentree last year and am pretty familiar with it so I am not looking for honey holes. Just water levels(but if you want to throw in duck activity that would be fine). Thanks in advance.

You could always call the DNF office in Rolling Fork for information on which are flooded and what level. With the lack of rain we've had I would be suprised if the Sunflower GTR is full.
My hunting partner and I got drawn for the 22nd at Muscadine also. See you guys there. Pray for cold weather up north.

Careful, they're bad about opening valves and such the last week or two of the season around there. Here today gone tomorrow. Never understood why extra week or two kills the trees or something. Maybe Sunf.GTR will be ok the GWs flooded it. The Forrest sevice stopped pumpin Longbyoo the second week of the season, just filled the long slough and quit. Hope you get to talk to somebody that actually been there and knows. Honder's suggestion sounds good. They told me to call district office MWFP #3 to talk to biologist who was clueless. Try 662-828-3456 at the HQ maybe catch little Darrel there and ask him to walk down in there for you to check......He He. Seriously, they might return a call if you leave message.

Sunflower had plenty of water last time I was there. The others are spotty at best, mostly just the low lying areas. I may be up that way tomorrow if so I'll shoot ya a pm.
