Fox Reds and Whites

This is probably a really stupid question but can someone educate me on "Fox Red" and "White" labs? From what I understand...these are just shades of a yellow...right?

Yep. Red fox is a red shade of the coat and White is just a really light shade. But AKC considers them both yellow.

For a second there I thought someone was asking about a Toller!
