puppy training

should i work on heeling command after teaching dog the sit command on a leash? ive bought the dvd waterdog and using these steps but my 4 month old pup is hating the leash and heeling command i dont want to ruin her and make this not fun

Buy Jackie Mertens "Sound Beginnings". Never seen a puppy or new dog owner that didn't work well on.

Very good simple stuff.

Keep it fun, and keep distances relativley short for a while. Promote success and reward.
