I am a fairly new member on this forum. I am from Clanton, AL. Obama has now showed us his socialist side again. Well I don't know if all of you know but when a boy reaches the goal of eagle scout in the boy scouts. You are suppose to send your papers to the white house and the president with sign them to confirm your achievement. Well Obama wouldn't sign a kids from clanton. But luckly they got President Bush to sign them and he agreeded to continue if Obama wouldn't. I don't know about yall but I my opinion thats just low. A kid works that long and you won't acknowledge his achievement. I am asking yall to tell everybody you know about this. I really wish this could show up on fox news. Also Please remember in november and lets vote some people in who actually have more than a 5th grade education.

and oh by the way, folks that watch Fox news didn't vote for obama.

I am glad the young fellow did get them signed but you will never see a story like this on the mainstream. Obama has been an absolute disgrace to the US.

Well all I know is a kid from clanton had it sent back with no signature from the president so read what you want but it happened in my home town.

I believe you, do you know this kid? Just wondering if there was a reason given? I can't stand the guy but always like to have the facts before raising hell.

I don't know him personally. His dad is real good friend with one of our close friends who was a scout leader for close to 15 years.

I'd rather have Bush's signature on it anyway.

Not to mention skipping the national jamboree to appear on The View.

Did this go for those that attain the rank of Quartermaster in the Sea Scouts? It is equivalent to Eagle and they get invited to the Order of the Arrow ceremony that Eagles go through. I know 4 or 5 friends that attained this in Sea Scouts in New Orleans. i may call a few of them and ask if there cert. was signed by Jimmy Carter !
