It is simple. Upload them to the web at a hosting site. I don't know of any more free ones. I use MyImageHost.com. Once you have uploaded the picture to a hosting site, click on the picture to "expand it." Then use your mouse to copy the URL that will be showing in the address bar of your browser for the full size picture that you uploaded. Then, come over here and create a post. Click on the "Img" button on the far right hand side of the "post a reply" box. A little address bracket will pop-up in the reply box, and you paste the address for the uploaded pic right after the IMG bracket, then click IMG a second time. Submit your post, and presto, a pic pops up in your post.
It will look something like this when you get done:

Rite...once you get your pic on the web (not email) it will have an official url like Mark's pic above:
http://www.myimagehost.com/users/gulfcoast/mark_3_3.jpg
How did I get the url, you ask? Right click on the pic. In the box click on properties. Another box will pop up and you'll find the url. You can left click and hold it down, and drag the whole url. It will highlight. Let go of the left button and click the right button and click on copy. As long as you don't highlight anything else, it will be saved. then you can come to your favorite site and right click again, click paste then either put the [img] stuff around it or not.
Now if you just put that http://........yada yada yada, all you will see is what is above.
So you go and click the IMG button up there and put a behind it.
Now I could post a url on here and everybody could click on it to see the pic, but the pic wouldn't show up automatically. Like this:
http://www.fowlmood.com/files/secret_spot1.jpg
but if I put a behind it will look like this:
Then you can show everybody your picture, and hopefully you're a prettier man than GC
