I figure not many people on here watch the show and neither do I but after seeing in the paper that a girl from State is on this season I figured I'd catch the first episode.
HOLY $HIT. Could they have found a trashier girl here to represent MS? One of the first things she did was show off her "vajayjay tat" Are facking kidding me?
I hope this isn't somebodys daughter thats on here. But if it is...WOW you must be proud.
Sorry for the rant. Just pissed that such a poor example of MSU is on display.

I had a thread from the fall semester I believe about a girl in mugshots who was being filmed for Real World. I don't recall her name but a search will bring it back up if your interested.
Needless to say. The reason I posted the thread was because of her poor acting and vulger language. Possibly the same girl? Sounds about right.

Yeah she's a class act. And her claim to fame is that she's only done black guys. They found a great one to represent Mississippi there. Oh and her name is Jemmye

Saw that chit last night and wanted to vomit. All I kept saying to my wife was WTF? REALLY? FLUCK YOU VERY MUCH, MTV! Damn ninja lovin' trailer trash stripper with way too thick of a put on accent. Why couldn't they go to the KD or Phi Mu house and get someone to really compete with the lush from FL?
SMH, FTS...

You need look no further than MTV's target audiance to determine how and why this girl made the cut for this show. That and the fact that no woman of class would ever consider being on this trainwreck of a show.

i wondered what caliber this girl would be, coming from aberdeen....not because being from aberdeen is bad, just the opposite...the people i know from aberdeen are high caliber and wouldn't dream of themselves or their kids doing a skank show like the real world (yes, it has become skank tv - far removed from the mtv i grew up on....haven't seen a music video on "music television" in a long time that wasn't on a "rememberwhen" show).

i agree. i think they need to change the name to dtv or something for drama tv. that's all it is anymore. just a bunch of spoiled brats fighting. every single show on mtv is like that. do they even make music videos anymore???

Jemmye Carroll Bio - As vocal supporter of gay marriage and legalization of marijuana, Jemmye doesn't necessarily come off as someone from a conservative Mississippi hometown. She enjoys casual sex with no commitment, and she has a preference for black men (until she meets fellow roommate, Knight), which is about as scandalous as it gets in her heavily Southern Baptist community. Jemmye is recently free of an abusive relationship. Her mother Alice is her best friend and they have no secrets from one another, to the point where Jemmye frequently discusses the intimate details of her sex life with her mom. But one secret she hasn't told her mom is about the past relationship that haunts her to this day. For most people, Mardi Gras is a one day affair, but something tells us Jemmye will be collecting beads all season.
To top things off, she is from Aberdeen. I wouldn't expect a girl from there to be sleeping with colors

I assume these people are paid or compensated in some way? If so, anyone know how much or anything along those lines?
Or is this more of "my chance to be famous" and they don't give a rats ass about anything else.
