"COFFEE"

been kinda mulling over this in my head for a few weeks now. due to the pisspoor economy, they've taken our floor coffee (community house) away from us. i, myself, am a coffee drinker....black, that's it.

well, for a few weeks i spent my money on some coffee.......and, every nurse, doc, janitor, bleeder, patient, etc etc, took advantage of my good nature, mooching off me, never NEVER offering to help w/ any of it........so, i cut them off. we've got a "cups" down stairs and a "starbucks" too, so i'm golden......

i prefer to drink cups stuff b/c the folks are friendly (methodist rehab has the cups, UMC has the starbucks, you figure it out) and the coffee ain't half bad.....

except, i sometimes wonder if it's worth the wait at around 8 o'clock. now, i'm discounting women, b/c they are supposed to drink stupid junk like latte mochas, frappee's, tiacha's.....whatever.

BUT, i'll say this:

-if you are drinking black coffee, either medium or dark roast, odds are you played a real sport like football or baseball, or maybe ex-military, at the very least, no one's ever told you to hand your man card in, and like to eat meat.

-if you add creamer and sugar, odds are, you watched alot of the golden girls, skip the ranch dressing for the "low fat" vinegrette, and eat chicken at a steak house.

-if you drink the "flavored" stuff like "blueberry muffin" coffee, you are a vegetarian, enjoy a rousing match of soccer, get pedicures and someone's probably accused you of being metrosexual.

-if you drink the stuff that takes a recipe book and 15 minutes out of the poor girl making 7 bucks/hr day, and has names like "blondie", "el diablo", "ice peanut butter mocha", etc.............you're queer.

that is all, gator

I agree one hunnered percent. You may never sucked one but you probably held it in your mouth for a while.

sorry about the mooches. Good cup of joe with friends is better than strong whiskey sometimes. sometimes.

i had to add my personal edits-piss off gator.

Your welcome.

I feel ya. I typically have some pretty choice word for people who insist on buying Maxwell House or Folgers as well. I am a devout Community drinker--black-- savoring the essence of the bean. Do yourself a favor, if you already haven't, and try the Community--Columbia Blend.

8 O'Clock coffee at my house, ground extra fine, straight up. Black and Strong, just like deltaduckman's women! Coffee should be coffee, if you want a milkshake, go to McDonalds. If you're queer, go to Starbucks.

I can't believe "soccer" isn't mentioned in any of those defini ----- oh wait, there it is.

My Paw-in-law takes it black, but brewed about 1/10th as strong as normal. Where does he stand? I already know the answer, so I'll use this to assess your coffee drinker smarts.

he's cool stang. it's the thought that counts and alot of folks as they get older have either a urinary urgency issue or a gut issue.........i'm gonna assume he's doing the best he can.

Betty White was hot back in the day, I like most any dressing, and I want the biggest cut of beef on the menu served medium rare.
I am an Albanian though so I guess that's the exception you forgot to add.

nothing wrong with that. do that all the time. as long as it's black and hot, it's okay.

I can't figure out how some people drink "iced coffee".
