I heard all Al beaches were closed but Fl is still open.

Somebody give us some info?? Leaving on the 21st need to know If I need to make new plans

My stepdaughter got down there this afternoon and didn't say anything about it if they were. My niece lives there and she say's they open.

My sister is there now and my boss's wife is there everytrhin is ope in Orange beach but the smell of oil is strong. Aunt is here at my mom and dads house tonight and she has condo in Gulf Shores and says oil is in the water there now via he kids who are there

I live in OB and the only oil they have are tar balls and they clean them up as soon as they wash up. There is oil offshore but they don't expect it to come ashore. Hope that helps the beaches are not closed and the oil smell is not bad.

My wife is in Perdido Key and I am talking to her now, no oil again this morning

Go to gulfshores .com they have an oil update daily. It says that beaches are open for sunbathing and walking but there is a swimming advisory for the gulf.

Thanks for the updates. I'm headed down to Orange Beach for the 4th. I hope the oil stays out in the gulf for all states and the well gets shut down.

headed out in the morning to perdido we moved up to weeks to beat the oil anyone down there shout at me maybe we can meet up for food or drinks gonna be me and wife and 3 boys (7months 9 and 10)

Been in perdido key since Friday and I haven't seen any sign or smell of oil, beaches are packed with folks and everything is as it should be. We will be here till friday. I hope for everyones sake here that it stays away.

FOX or CNN had a special in Destin this morning, Said the beaches were still open but clean up efforts are being put in place.
