How many have ever used beef blood for catfish bait? I've used it for years and its by far the best muddy water bait ever...them big cats come to the hook like junkies....Anyway I found a new source (since you cant buy it at a processing plant anymore) I'm getting way more than I can use so if any of you Fellas around Olive Branch want some PM Me....I should be getting it by next Thursday..

How do you use it? Put cottonballs on a hook and soak them in it?

The quick of it that you put the blood in the fridge and let it get real cold the blood will coagulate..then you just cut small pieces off.

Old Man Floyed turned me on to blood bait when I was about 7...he kept blood clots in his freezer after he slaughtered pigs...we used treble hooks with the bait holder spring

Yeah, there were a couple of them folks from True Blood on the river last night drinking that stuff and fishing with it.
