I was wondering how hard it was.

the pirouge is pretty easy to build. I got the plans for the duck boat but haven't tried to tackle it yet.

I built a hybrid 5 or 6 years ago- still going strong. I was going to build a Gator but came across an old Skeeter that was alot cheaper than building one. There is a guy in SC that builds the Duckhunter for sale and has some good ideas on his website- I think it is Toller Boats.

i built and 9' aluminum boat, and a 12' pirouge. Id love to build a 10' hybrid with a 5hp mud motor, Check out toller boat works web site, that Duckhunter Mini is the bomb!

the pirouge is a fun and easy build. mine 8 years old when i gave it away and never spent a day out of the weather.

I got plans for the duck hunter from gator boats, built the boat and it turned out pretty good. I could have bought an aluminum boat much cheaper. It gets plenty of looks and even more questions/comments. BTW, my wife almost ran me off over it.

I got one the first duckhunters that Toller built. I have enjoyed it, but it does require more upkeep than an aluminum boat does. It is 20 times more stable than an aluminunm and it is alot easier to hide.
