your favorite duck hole? i live a mile from the barn by SUV and anothe mile to the Shack by 4-wheeler...
i always look forward to a teal hunt or two on the water-way. a 100 mile trip from the house to the ramp..but i like the big water scene once in a while..

Woodducks and geese about 300 yards
Deer from my bathroom(throne) window(Dont do it, but it's there)
Ducks on big water and river about 20 miles.

You know whats so funny, is that most of us have pretty good hunting pretty close by, but for some reason we go farther and farther away from home in search of that hunt of a lifetime.

Got several. Closest is 32 miles by truck; then, about 2 by ATV. It is hit or miss.

The better spots are 121 miles, 135 miles, and 160 miles, all in three different directions.

Have truck, 4 wheeler, and gun and will travel. Huntin the country with HDC!

254 miles one way to my camp. 352 miles one way to my wife's home where I get to go with her uncle on the marshes, which involves an hour drive and 40 minutes boat ride, and 282 miles one way to my buddy's spot. Last Thanksgiving, I logged over 1000 miles in a couple of days. That's why I got a little truck, couldn't afford the gas otherwise. Hopefully I will get out of this no duck area soon and back in the flyway.

About 5 miles from a so-so spot, about twenty miles to a pretty good spot and about 65 miles to an even better spot. A mile eh judge? Must be nice!!

I have two favorite holes. One is about 15 miles, and the other is about 25.
I will only have several hundred yards, once I get my house built on my new property. I can hardly wait.

It is a 12 mile ride to the boat landing and a 30 minute boat ride to where I like to hunt (this is a WMA). It is a 242 mile ride to West to hunt with my friends there.

Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

60 miles one way in the truck, then a few miles on 4 wheeler, then a few hundred yard paddle/pushpole in the boat...then bail out--ducky time.

Nothing real close but I have two different locations I used to use (I'm just getting back in duck hunting after a 4 yr layoff). They are both about 60-70 miles by truck and about 4-5 miles by boat (Tenn-Tom Waterway in Alabama).
