back in the day, it was peterbo's in isola, but it is closed...and wasn't the same after he died, anyway. **actually back "in the day" it was labella's floating cheeseburger!! - indianola, ms**, but peterbo's came along after labella's closed. i guess pea-soups is it for indianola, now?

the dairy bar in tupelo used to have a good one - went great with their chocolate malt

christie's has a good hang-over burger - plenty of vitamin g (grease) and a big bag of fries

i always hear the place in amory has the best in east ms (bill's??), but haven't been over to try it yet...

The best cheeseburgers I have eaten have usually come form the worst looking establishments.

The nastier and more run down the joint is the greasier and better the cheesburger is.

Delta Grocery in Holly Bluff makes a good one...

Also, Bucksnorts Country Store and Grille in Independence makes a mean bacon cheesburger...
