My First Band
I hunted before work this morning and had woodies all over me. I did get my limit and when I picked them up the hen was double banded. It had a 100 dollar reward band...
I also saw quite a few mallards but only manage to call one drake into shooting range.

first band
Man that is awesome. By the way I am really jelous.
Congratulations
Getting a banded duck is kinda like winning the lottery, and it being dbl band make it that much sweeter. I have several bands but still rember the first one! I have a band that my Grandfather got when I was nine years old, I was with him when he got it on the Ill. river near Pekin. I still see the smile on his face whenever I look at it. I am sure that you will always rember that hunt with a smile.
