A question for Duckmen

Hey Duckmen, that John Carr you mentioined in your last topic, is that the same man who used to be over Delta Wildlife back in the old days. If it is I heard alot of stories about him. He used to take my Dad hunting and he could tell some wild stories about the times they had.

Never heard him say he was over Delta Wildlife. He grew up in Delhi La. and moved to Mississippi in the 50's. Loved to deer hunt until he got a lab and started the Hunting Test circuit. Then he was a ducker through and through. When he died he lived in Jackson.
It was my understanding that before he retired he worked in something to do with land surveys. He was a great guy, We went to several Goose hunts together in Eagle Lake Texas, and he hunted with our club till he was too sick.
